Who are we?

Our company at a glance

Founded in 1996, IBH-Export is one of the biggest pot plant, cut flower and bouquet exporters from The Netherlands with a turnover of 140+ million. We currently export to over 40 countries all across Europe and the Middle East, and operate in 5 different nations. Our headquarter office is located at the Royal Flora Holland flower auction in Aalsmeer, alongside to our locations in Westland (NL), IBH Germany, IBH Finland, IBH Sweden and IBH Kenya.

We dared to try new innovations and take on new challenges, pioneering Remote Buying so that customers can buy directly on the clock, for example. And we expanded our offering by adding cut flowers and bouquets so that customers can order all their greenery from us in one go.

We soon outgrew those 1.000 m2. Now we have 14.000 m2 with 32 loading docks, big refrigeration units, 8 automated bouquet conveyor belts, 2 manual bouquet conveyor belts and our own photographic studio. We also have branches in Germany, Sweden and Kenya. But for our 125 members of staff, IBH Export still feels like a small family company. We are a close-knit team that people enjoy being part of. And that enjoyment is reflected every day in our quality and customer-friendliness.

Sustainable growth

IBH Export stands for sustainable growth and this is reflected all throughout our company. Many of our members of staff have been with us for years on account of the pleasant work environment, good employment conditions and training opportunities that we provide. And we also build long-term relationships with customers, thanks to our personal touch and scope for customisation. We consciously make sustainable choices in respect of our range too, by choosing our partners carefully and keeping a lot of activities in-house, for example. This enables us to guarantee consistent quality at surprisingly competitive prices.

We also stand for sustainability for the world. From our branch in Kenya, we import directly from Kenyan rose-growers and we closely monitor quality and working conditions. We also have various sustainability approval marks and certificates:
